What to do with the last piece of Yak chew?
When the piece of yak chew becomes too small, don't throw it away! You can heat it in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. The piece will puff up and become a safe, crispy puffed treat, easy for your dog to chew. Let it cool completely before giving it to your pet.
YAK CHEW INGREDIENTS : WHAT'S INSIDE ?

The origin of yak cheese
Yak chew is a traditional dairy product made from the milk of female yaks, primarily found in the mountainous regions of Central Asia, including Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia, and Bhutan. Our yak chews are sourced directly from Nepal.
The yaks live a peaceful, free-roaming life in the mountains. This setting, along with their high quality of life, results in a milk of superior nutritional quality for both humans and pets. Our yak chews are handcrafted by local Sherpas and Nepali farmers who use traditional, ancestral methods.

Our Yak Chew Manufacturing Process
Our Yak chews are made using the traditional recipe and just 3 simple ingredients: yak milk, salt, and lemon. The process is simple : the milk is naturally curdled with lemon juice, and a touch of sea salt is added. The cheese is then pressed to remove excess liquid before it is air-dried for a minimum of 12 weeks and gently smoked. This artisanal method ensures a natural and nutritious chew, free of preservatives, additives, or artificial ingredients. The result is a long-lasting, healthy, and effective chew that your dog will love.
FAQ
Yes, yak chews are naturally low in lactose. The extensive manufacturing and drying process eliminates most of the lactose, which makes this a treat that is typically well-tolerated by sensitive dogs or those with a lactose intolerance. Still, we always recommend supervising your dog during their first time trying a yak chew.
Size S: Ideal for small dogs under 10 kg. Chew time can vary from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the dog's chewing intensity.
Size M: Perfect for dogs from 10 to 20 kg. It offers a longer chew, which can last from a few hours to several days.
Size L: Designed for large dogs over 20 kg. This size ensures a durable chew that can last several days, or even a week, depending on the dog.
Yak chews are an excellent tool for your dog's dental health. Their extremely hard texture encourages chewing, which helps scrape away plaque and tartar from the surface of the teeth. Regular use can help reduce the risk of periodontal disease, bad breath, and gingivitis.
Absolutely. Beyond their dental health benefits, yak chews are also a highly nutritious treat. They're an excellent source of essential protein and calcium to support strong bones and muscles. Plus, they're free from additives, preservatives, and artificial flavors, making them a healthy, all-natural option you can feel great about giving to your dog.
Thanks to their unique manufacturing and drying process, yak chews have an incredibly long shelf life. When stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct heat, they can last for several years.
